The LGBT Excellence Centre runs and supports a few community support groups:

LGBT Asylum Seekers Group

The LGBT Asylum Seekers Group is a peer support network for asylum seekers and refugees that have an interest in supporting each other and campaigning for greater understanding of sexual orientation and gender identity issues within this community.

The group meets in Cardiff, but also has an online network set up on this website to allow people to connect and discuss issues that are relevant to them across Wales and the rest of the UK.

Trans Youth Wales

This is a support group for young trans people and those who might be questioning their gender identity between 16 and 25 years of age.
